U11thrill Parnell Park 23 Feb

What a great display of hurling by the Faughs U11 team in Parnell Park today at half time in the Dublin Clare match. Plenty of skills on display which entertained the crowd with each score being applauded. Cheer of the day was to Gavin playing in goals who twice in quick succession volleyed clear to massive applause (not least his celebration). All four teams played extremely well and we were all very proud of the quality of hurling on display. Thanks to all the parents who supported us by getting so many of the lads up to enjoy the day and our two refs Owen & Ryan. As a recognition of how well we played, a couple of clubs came up to us afterwards looking to organise some challenge matches and a couple of ‘experts’ mentioned to us that they expect to see some of the Faughs u11 wearing the blue of Dublin in years to come… keep an eye out during the week for some pictures which record the event.. all back to training this week to keep building the skills..
