U11s display strong performances in Comaint Series 2015

Summer saw the participation in the Dublin COMAINT series – there were 4 weeks of matches each Tuesday thru July at different venues including our own.  We fielded two teams with 11 a-side and there were three opponents to be played each week.  Hence, there were over 20 matches in this period and has resulted in significant improvement across the panel in skills and game awareness.  The opposition included LUCAN, BALINTEER, CRUMLIN, T DAVIS, OLAFS, BALLYBODEN, GOOD COUNSEL, NAAS, ST PARICKS, CUALA & COMMERCIALS and were rotated.  Of the 23 games played; 4 losses, 3 draws and 16 wins – which is a very credible return.  It was particularly pleasing to have depth within the squad to cover for the holidays away period and on the last week the panel was supplemented with some U10’S.   Well done to the entire panel on wearing the jersey with pride and competing so well – we look forward to the concluding fixture hopefully in Parnell Park in late August
