U11s bring curtain down on Main Pitch at TYMON! Sat 14th Sept

The panel took to the main pitch at TYMON against CASTLEKNOCK for the last time before its closure for redevelopment.  Weather conditions were perfect for hurling and the sixty players on display made for a colourful sight!  The visitors proved to be tough opposition across all three streams, and it was a great test for the FAUGHS boys to respond.  It particularly highlighted the need to increase effort levels to adjust to certain game conditions and the need to gain possession at faster pace.  Hence it was a really good learning opportunity and the mentors took time to reflect with the team on those points.  The FAUGHS boys gave full commitment right to the final whistle and displayed some great pieces of skill that gives plenty to build on in  the period ahead.  Included in the photos captures the attendance of senior hurler EMMET MCKENNA who worked with the boys the previous week on skill development and we thank him for this.

Well done to MOTM winners who were excellent on the day
