U8 boys blitzes in Kimage Manor and at Judes in Tymon 10th Sept 2016
On Saturday September 10th the 2008 team hosted their first blitz in Kimmage Manor. Blessed with a fantastic morning, 2 teams from Faughs competed strongly with visitors from STARS OF ERIN from Glencullen and CUALA from Dalkey. Each team played 4 matches in great spirit and really showed their skills developing. Although tired and hot from their endeavours, they found a new lease of energy when the treats were spotted and having received their medals they settled back to up their sugar levels.
At JUDES the other 2 FAUGHS teams played matches against KILMACUD, BALINTEER & JUDES and played 5 games in total – the boys competed very well winning most and had their first taste of air-hurling which was allowed for the second half of each game. This was a really good learning experience for all and certainly well deserved the BLITZ medals at the end. Well done to all.
