U8 boys versus St Kevins and Na Gaeil Óga 24th September 2016
The season continued on Sat 24th Sept – with fixtures against ST KEVINS and Na Gaeil Óga in Lucan;
The match against KEVINS was played in DOLPHIN in what is a very familiar venue for our boys – they took advantage of this and won comfortably against a spirited opposition in both games. It is good to see some of the points from training particularly in relation to striking being applied. Well done to all on the performance and for Man of the Match Winners – Sean Ridgewood & Seamus Fitzgerald who both received their trophies.
Thanks to the fantastic directions issued by Brian to Na Gaeil Óga pitches in Lucan, two full teams arrived in plenty of time for the matches on a very wet morning. The boys spirits were not dampened by the weather and they all thoroughly enjoyed the two matches and continued to display their ever expanding skill base. With comfortable wins all round and the enthusiasm of all on a dreary morning, all players were given the MOTM accolade 🙂
