Superb U8 Kilkenny Trip

On Sunday we had our trip to Gowran, Kilkenny and later on to Port Laoise. The Gowran club provided us with a superb welcome and had an abundance of refreshments for players and parents – we much appreciated it.. Down to the serious stuff- all four teams did exceptionally well and showed what fantastic improvements have been made all year. In the second half of all matches where players were allowed to rise the ball – a new skill for us, the boys showed that they are every bit as good as the best in Kilkenny!! On to Portlaoise where bowling, soccer and the play barn exhausted all the coaches and a few of the kids – great fun had by all. Thanks to all the parents for the support on the day and the players (including sisters & brothers) were brilliant both on and off the field… see you at training Wednesday..
