U10s Welcomed All Ireland Champions to TYMON!
CUALA provided the opposition last Saturday June 23rd on glorious morning that was perfect for hurling. The numbers from the visiting side were unexpectedly low and it meant last minute changes to the teams picked merging into two rather than the usual three. None the less the games went well and the FAUGHS players had plenty of time on the ball allowing them to experience more possession and learning how to turn this into scores. The mentors did a great job in juggling the numbers ensuring that all got equal game time by rotating on and off throughout. This was the last home fixture of the season and overall this panel has made excellent progress since the start of the year. The one team squad travelled to SHANKHILL playing at exactly the same time and performed very well against the home team there in what was very competitive match. Well done to all in representing their club so well and finishing out this season in style
