U11s take on BALLYBODEN

Junction 12 on the M50 was the backdrop for the second fixture on March 9th against neighbours and reigning senior county champions BBSE.  28 of the panel lined out at BALLYCULLEN to play against the local opposition – and just like the traffic on the motorway nearby, the action in the games was non-stop throughout!  Numbers were reduced due to local parish events, but those present put in an excellent performance across all three steams in what were challenging weather conditions for hurling.  The sense of being competitive and game awareness continues to improve, and all present were pleased to see this in addition to some top quality passages of play and scores.  Looking ahead the aim is to build on the skills levels – the players are being encouraged to make the link between practice and being able to execute in a match situation.   All left the grounds feeling good about the performance and thanked BBSE for the sporting games played.

Well done to all for performance, but particular well done to MOTM winners who were outstanding on the day and received trophy each –
